The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 45yrs, resides at the above mentioned address with his family, joined Mumbai Police department in 1998 as Sepoy, , and is presently Hawaldar (No- 980741) serving in General duty in Nagpada Transport Division since 2018.     

The Complainant appeared at the Nagpada Transport dept for day duty on July 17, 2022  at 09:00.  According to the order of Nagpada Traffic Department, Mumbai, special operation for appropriate legal action against vehicles and drivers who violate traffic rules was carried. At about 11.54 hours, while the Complainant was patrolling in Police Station Precinct near  KK road, Saat Rasta, byculla, Mumbai,  a  Motor cycle rider was found driving his bike  MH-03 BL-3380 in the opposite direction of traffic at high speed negligently and recklessly, endangering the life of himself and others.

Hence the squad stopped the accused and asked about the driver’s license, accused gave his name as Junaid Mustafa Khan, age 48years, address given as above.   The complainant after informing the accused about the violation of traffic rules, said vehicle and the driver was taken into custody and brought to Agripada Police Station for filing complaint .

Therefore, The complainant is filing this legal complaint against the accused   for driving the scooter recklessly at high speed against the direction of traffic, endangering his life as well as others.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
