The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 27 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address since 24 years with father Bablu Saudekar, age 47 years, mother Savita Saudekar, age 45 years, elder sister Dipika Mhaiskar, age 31 years, brother- in- law Vikas Mhaiskar, age 36 years, sister’s son and daughter. The Complainant works at the Color East Salon at Alta mount Road, Mumbai, and his father drives a taxi , out of such income livelihood is being earned.

On 17/07/2022 the complainant left his residence around 11.30am for work and came back home around 09.00 pm after working all day. After the complainant came home, he went to his friend Haji’s place for dinner where Niaz was kept because of his community’s procession. the complainant attended the program and left around 11.10 pm, and then he sat on pan tapri in front of Kinjal Tower and had a chat with his friend and came back home around 12.00pm midnight. After that, he had dinner and sat at home watching TV. At that time Mr Anil Vasant Mhaiskar, who lives in same slum area, came to his house around 1.30am with some people and told him “Tumhare jija ko kuch hua hai,”  at Opposite Kijal Tower, pious Street, Byculla (West), Mumbai. The complainant asked him “what happened” but he was in a hurry , thus the complainant ran after him at Tabela Galli No. 01. Outside Goniwala Shop, Opposite Kinjal Tower, Paice Street, Byculla, Mumbai, where the complainant saw his Jiju (brother in law) Mr Vikas Chandu Mhaiskar lying in a pool of blood , it seemed someone stabbed him with a sharp blade on the left side of his neck and chest. Also, the intestine on the left side of his stomach was seen to have come out. The crowd gathered around, some of them were saying “Saas (breathing) chalu hai”, the complainant immediately took the injured   to the hospital with the help of the people there, at the same time the police car reached there, and his brother-in-law Vikas Mhaiskar was taken to Nair hospital in a police car, it was approximately 01.45 at night. When the doctors there checked injured and declared him dead around 02:00, on 18/07/2022. After that the complainant came to the police station to file a complaint against the unknown accused for murdering his brother-in-law Vikas Mhaiskar.

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police  officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi  and he confirmed the same.
