The Complainant (Police Hawaldar No-092041) , aged 35 yrs, resides at the above mentioned address with his wife Mrs. Yogita Ranjit Apsunde age 30 years, Son Arnav age 10 years, daughter Kavya age 04 years. The Complainant joined Mumbai Police Force in the year 1992 as a Police Constable and since last 2 yrs have been in crime investigation dept at Agripada.
On 22/01/2023 the Complainant reported for day duty at Police station at 08.00 am. Police Sub- Inspector Sudesh Kadam informed him about death registered at Agripada Police Station on 21/01/2023 record no. 09/2023 , who was found injured at Dr Nair Road, Dakshin vahini Road, Opposite Axis Bank ATM at Viveria Tower, Agripada, Mumbai and asked him t check whether is there any CCTV footage available at the said spot. Accordingly, the Complainant went to Viveria Tower, Agripada, near the said incident site and viewed the CCTV footage available , it was found , that on 21/01/2023 at 00.29 hrs. that one person was seen stumbling while walking through Road, i.e. South Channel Road from Saat rasta towards Mumbai Central. Between 00.32 hrs said person fell down, and was taken to the side of the road by the passing bikers and local people. Then he got up on his own and again came to the middle of the road, and around 00.57 hrs an unknown four- wheeler was seen to have hit him, who then fell on the road due to the impact. After some time, he was seen being taken away from the road by the people who had gathered there. After that, the said unknown person taken in Agripada Mobile 1 vehicle for admitting to the hospital for treatment.
Therefore, The complainant is filing this legal complaint against the unknown accused for driving the car recklessly at high speed causing an accident which led to death of unknown person
