The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 51, resides with his spouse at the above-mentioned address since his birth with his children and his brother Ayyub (age 47 years). The Complainant drives Auto Rickshaw for ferrying people, out of the said business livelihood is being earned for the family. Auto rickshaw in Black & yellow color has been used and possessed by the Complainant since last 2018. The said Auto rickshaw is owned by Late Durgesh hanuman Salwade, and thus 6 yrs agreement is entered with his wife Lakshmi Durgesh Salwade (age 38 years) for using and possessing such vehicle.

The Complainant generally parks said Auto rickshaw in front of his house, however on 07/01/2023 at 11.00 PM, the Complainant parked said Auto rickshaw at Haji dargah, Western Express Highway, opp. Times Of India office, Kandivali East, Mumbai 400101, and went to his home, because his usual place of parking was packed for some reason.          

On 08/01/2023 at 8.00 am the Complainant went down to such a parking spot, but to his surprise, he did not see the said vehicle parked there. After that Complainant looked around for the said vehicle but could not find it.

After that Complainant searched for the said car at the nearby area, Dahisar Transport Department, also as the Auto rickshaw was financed he checked with the bank branch also, but all went in vein. Thereby the Complainant is convinced that the said Auto rickshaw of the following description has been fraudulently stolen by some unknown person:-

Thereby Complainant has a legal complaint against an unknown person that on 08/01/2023 some unknown person stole his above description vehicle parked at Haji dargah, Western Express Highway, opp. Times Of India office, Kandivali East, Mumbai – 400101

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Pravin Rane.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi (gave a copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi and he confirmed the same.
