The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 23, resides at the address mentioned above with the family since birth. The Complainant’s family consists of her father namely, Gyanchand Soni, age 56 years, Mother Mrs. Shashikala, age- 50 years, her elder brother Mr. Deepak, age 27 years, elder sister Ms. Aarti, age- 26 years and her younger sister Ms. Payal, age -20 years.  The Complainant’s father and mother have an imitation jewelry business, and my family survives on it.

On 11/01/2023, the Complainant along with her elder sister Aarti went to her friend Rohini’s house around 12.20 pm as it was her birthday. The Complainant’s friend Rohini Patel, aged 30 Years, Resides at Govind Bala Chawl, Gavdevi Road, Kajupada, Pandey Dairy, Poisar, Kandivali East, Mumbai.

At around 01.40 am, the Complainant, her elder sister Aarti, and friend Chetan Sanjay Soni, aged 22 years, left Rohini’s place to reach the complainant’s home. They were all standing in front of Puja Medical, Poisar Kandivali East, suddenly one biker came from behind and pulled the chain made from Bentex from the Complainant’s bag and ran away with his bike towards Western Expressway.

The Complainant saw that the biker was alone, who ran away on his two-wheeler (Unicorn bike of Honda company) at high speed in the direction of Western Expressway. As Complainant’s friend Chetan Soni who had a scooter motor-cycle, they immediately started chasing the accused on Chetan’s bike. While they were at Dakshin Vahini, Thakur Village flyover, Western Expressway, Kandivali East, Mumbai, they saw a patrolling team of Samata Nagar Police Station.

When they informed the patrolling team about the incident, the team chased the accused biker and intercepted his bike (MH-02 D.L.4930 black Honda Unicorn) at some distance, and caught him. The officers asked the accused his name and address, and he identified himself as Mr. Shan Mohammed Nasir Khan and confirmed his age as 38 years.

After that Complainant came to the police station to complain about the incident. The complainant described the stolen chain as 10 gram bentex metal chain having a value of Rs.500. The Complainant confirmed that she can recognize her chain if shown.

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police officer namely Mr. Harshad Ingole.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi on a computer, and it was explained to him and he confirmed the veracity of the same.
