The gist of the Complaint: Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 34, resides at the address as mentioned above, joined the Mumbai Police department on 30/07/2010, and is presently serving at Samta Nagar Police Station since 16/08/2021.     

The Complainant appeared at the police station for Night duty on 15/01/2023 at 8.00 PM.  around 9:45 PM in the evening while patrolling along with P.S.I. Mr. Abhimanyu Jadhav at footpath at Dattani road, Opp. Riviera tower complex, Thakur Village, Kandivali (E) Mumbai, it was observed that the accused was dangerously using a stove on a footpath having crowd & traffic, which is a public place, hence endangering the safety of himself and the people by running stall for making & selling Chinese food. Accordingly, two Panchas were called upon before taking any action, and then made a detailed panchnama of the said incident before them.

At the given address, it was observed that a kerosene stove is used for the Chinese food-making process at the small stall, and people are seen standing around them buying and eating them. On asking the name and address of Accused who was selling the said Chinese food, he gave his name, and address as above, and on asking him about the license, Accused said that he does not have any kind of license.

Hence for endangering the safety of himself and the passerby, by running the stall for making food with stove , Police Registered the case and took up the investigation  

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi and it was explained to him in Hindi, also copy of the same handed over to him sand he confirmed the same.
