The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 84yrs, resides alone at the above mentioned address with her husband Pravin Rohekar, age 55 years, her mother Vatsala Pacharkar, age 72 years and daughter Amrita age 7 years.  The Complainant’s husband is employed in Central Railway, SNT Dept, Telecom Byculla out of his salary income the  livelihood is being earned for family.

The Complainant’s mother is undergoing outpatient treatment at Maru Hospital, Parel, Mumbai due to paralysis of her left hand . Mr Dinesh Manohar Thakur, age 32 years has been coming to their house to take care her mother , daily from 10.00 am to 07.00 pm , for about one and a half years.

The gold ornaments of the Complainant, her husband’s, daughter’s as well as her mother’s  are kept in the cupboard . The said cupboard usually checked and locked when all are leaving the house for a long time, at other times they do not lock the cupboard.

On the day of Lakshmi Puja on 24/10/2022, the Complainant worshiped the ornaments , had put them back in the iron cupboard. On 26/11/2022 , Since there was Haldi programme of marriage of the Complainant’s niece Mr Omkar Rohekar, the Complainant   at around 07.00 pm opened  iron cupboard in the house to wore her jewellery . The Complainant informed the same to her husband, then both searched said iron cupboard & the house but found nothing.

The Complainant was then convinced that some unknown person(s’) had stolen his gold jewelery of the following description, thus have came to the police station to file a complaint;

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police  officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi  and he confirmed the same.
