The gist of the Complaint : Translated from Marathi to English on best effort basis.

The Complainant, aged 84yrs, resides alone at the above mentioned address since 5 yrs.  The Complainant Own a some shop premises , which he has let out on rent , out of this rent income the  livelihood is being earned. The Complainant’s son Ganesh Hiralal Gupta, aged 40 years resides at Atlas House, Amar shahid Marg, Saat rasta, his Daughter Chhaya Anil Gupta, aged 44 years and wife of his deceased son- Maya Dinesh Gupta, aged 38 years , their children are staying at Sai Sagar Building, Saat rasta. The Complainant’s other two sons – Manoj and Rajesh are living at Bhayander along with their families

The Complainant had an old used gold chain weighing approx 1 tola (10 grm), two Gold rings weighing 5 grams and 7 grams each Also his daughter in law Mrs Meena Manoj Gupta had pledged with him the two gold necklaces of weighing 2 tolas (20 grm),  and 1 tola (10 grm),  and three gold rings of approx 1 tola (10 grm). The Complainant had savings of Rs. 50,000/- in cash with him and had withdrawn from his savings account of Bank of India, cash Rs.1,80,000/- on 21/11/2022 for his personal work.  It was kept in a locker of an iron cupboard in his residence, whose keys are kept by  him .

On 23/11/2022, at around 10:00 PM the Complainant was lying on the bed by leaving shop’s shutter (his residence partially open to have proper ventilation. At that time the Complainant kept the key of the iron cupboard and his old Vivo mobile phone near his pillow.  The Complainant fell asleep and forgot to close the shutter from inside. On 24/11/2022 at around 04:00 AM when the Complainant woke up , he found his cupboard open and all the Jewellery , cash kept in the said cupboard were missing, also used mobile phone was found missing. The Complainant informed his children and relatives about the incident and also inquired with them but did not get any useful information

The Complainant was then convinced that some unknown person(s’) had stolen his gold jweellery ,  cash etc of the following description, thus have came to the police station to file a complaint;

Police Registered the case and took up the investigation The case is being investigated by the Police  officer namely Mr. Yogendra Pache.

The Complainant’s statement was recorded in Marathi ( gave copy of the same to him) and it was explained to him in Hindi  and he confirmed the same.
